Helene Funding Announced
On March 1, United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County disbursed $800,000 among nine organizations supporting recovery efforts in Buncombe County. This investment brings the organization’s total Helene-related funding to $5,332,547.

Investing in Youth, Led by Community: A Midway Look at Our Community Investment Grants
Across Asheville and Buncombe County, community-led organizations are creating spaces where students and families can connect, learn, and thrive. In 2023, four local organizations were selected to participate in United for Youth, a pilot Community Investment funding model designed to support work that is rooted in community voice, lived experience, and shared leadership.
